This century old Barn is renovated into (Barn-Again!) a captivating 2-bedroom cottage and a spacious loft where history meets modernity in a symphony of industrial design and rustic charm. This century-old structure has been reborn into a sanctuary that pays homage to the spirit of industrial décor and bygone eras of automobile memorabilia. Our property celebrates 2 centuries of history in hospitality.
You’ll enter through the patio French doors into the living room – where nostalgia meets innovation. The heart lies in the two thoughtfully designed bedrooms and amazing loft. Each room is comfortable, designed with industrial decor and style. You’ll wake up surrounded by the rustic elegance of reclaimed wood and iron elements that have been given a second life. The loft space, with its soaring ceilings, offers a versatile space – sleep, relax, watch tv or just hang out.
THE LIVING ROOM
Step into the cabin’s cozy living room and be whisked away to a world of rustic luxury and charm. Almost 10 ft of glass gives you a view of the lake and mountain peaks from the entire downstairs space. Rough-hewn hemlock boards cover the walls celebrating the rich history of this working Barn.
The tranquility of the mountains and the private lake lets your stresses slip away. The unit is timelessly and exquisitely furnished – so you may never want to leave this charming sanctuary that feels like home.
Step outside onto the deck and enjoy the private lake and the mountain peaks all around you. Enjoy a cuppa whatever you fancy and relax.
THE KITCHEN
The small but artfully designed kitchen contains granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and beautiful cabinetry so you can cook with ease.
THE MASTER BEDROOM – 1 X Queen Bed
A unique custom headboard made of repurposed stanchions used to hold up the historic barn and corrugated sheet metal (properly cleaned and sealed).
The city skyline in a beautiful piece of art adorns the wall. You’ll get lost in the comfort of the cloud like memory foam mattresses.
THE BEDROOM 2 – 1 X Queen Bed and 1 X Twin Bed
Bedroom features a salvaged metal headboard for our Queen bed and corrugated sheet metal for the twin bed. Both have memory cloud foam mattresses.
THE LOFT – 2 X Twin Beds
Our historic metal spiral staircase will bring you up to the renovated barn loft space! Originally the working hay loft for the barn, it has been converted into a cool space to hang out, sleep, watch tv or just relax. The 1946 Chevy pickup truck nose section coming out of the wall is an historic truck that served as a lifesaving Ambulance for the coal miners in PA.
Enjoy the perfect blend of old-world charm and contemporary comfort. The kids will love this “Eagle’s Perch” (You may even hang out there yourself and leave the kids downstairs!).
